Preggo is getting bigger and BIGGER

Hello all!
First, we want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas. Paul and I are saddened that we are not able to celebrate this holiday with either of our families. But we will do our best to enjoy the last one we will have with peace and quiet! ;)

The little man continues to grow and move. The OB-GYN says I am growing nicely, and his heartbeat and growth is also good. I continue to love feeling his movement (except when I am trying to sleep). Sleep has become less and less, but that is just preparation for what is to come. My goal, which I have told Lucas many times, is for him to be born in 4-6 weeks. This puts his 'cookin' about 39-41 weeks. Do you think he'll listen to his mama on this? Daddy is also doing well. He will start his job on Jan. 4, and should know the last of his exam score by the end of the year. He is so awesome, and to prove it just look at the last picture. I couldn't ask for a more loving and giving husband! I do not know what I'd do without him!

Thanksgiving Fun and 'The Belly'

After many requests for these....here are the much anticipated pictures of the belly! This week is week number 32. Paul and I can't believe how fast this has gone. He is approximately 4 lbs and 19 inches, according to the baby books. He is one very active little man. Sometimes I'm not sure if he's practicing for gymnastics or to be a football kicker. We shall have to wait and see!

Week 31
Week 32 ...Posing ever so prettily for the camera!

Paul and I had an excursion to the Smokey Mountains of Tennessee for Thanksgiving. We stayed in a cabin just outside of Dolleywood, Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg area. The cabin was nice and spacious with 4 rooms, including a game room with a large TV. We rented this cabin with 5 other couples, and 6 children under the age of 3. Both Paul and I felt it was good preparation for whats to come in January. Our adventures included cooking, eating much, mini-golfing, shopping, playing games, and watching sports. Now who can ask for more?

A Few More Thoughts

How Ya'll Doin'

I know many of you may be very surprised to notice that we two blog post this week. We just have lots of big news to report. In a weeks time this must be crazy. First, Pauli is getting older- 28. He doesn't require a cane yet but we must be careful not to injury his aging body. Secondly Tiffers has won an award for a halloween costume at a church activity. It was great. Lets see if you can tell who she was.
First the birthday. Paul got great gifts, a shirt, book, sweater vest, and marshmallows (a requirement for every pauli birthday). These were great gifts but the best was a birthday cake it was made of rice crispie treats with gummie bears and the seperating layer was halloween oreo cookies. MMMM - MMMM GOOD!!!!!

Second, our church congregration had a halloween, trunk or treat. First, Tiffers and I did not want to go, we thought about a relaxing and do nothing Saturday. This did not occur and we decided to go and last minute we had to come up with some costumes. Pauli this entire week has decided to go mountain man, not shaving and quite ragged and unkempt hair. So with no costume he decided to go as.........you decide and we shall tell you later.

Tiffers was another story. You see being pregnant there are not a whole lot of options. She did not want to paint her belly or do anything with a basketball or pumpkin. We found a great idea, went to goodwill and found the perfect outfit. You shall see.

Other good news to report we bought a king size bed and boy are we excited. One more thing is that Tiffers got her bottom braces on and now she is completely metal mouth monster. Oh, her colors are so cool as well, orange and black for halloween(Sorry no pictures yet but we will be coming soon). It should be here in about two weeks enjoy the pics and talk to yall soon.

love,
pt

Is that not the coolest cake!!!!! (I loved it)

The greatest cake for Pauli and the cool presents too! He was very excited.

This is the prize winner. Her great prize was....

Pillsbury Dough Girl (the Dough Boy is inside her belly)

Excursion to the Mountains

Are you as stumped by this as we are??Hello again,

This past weekend have had quite a time. We decided to take our second annual gander to the mountains of North Carolina and they were gorgeous. Last year our adventures took us to the Blue Ridge Parkway. This year we focused on a variety of incredible waterfalls. We visited a total of seven and below is a collections of what we did and saw.

Our first three waterfalls were amazing and quite easy access. However, our fourth, courthouse falls, was a bit more rugged. The directions said it was .3 miles from a dirt road. We walked down the trail and heard the waterfall but there were no signs as to the indication of the where the waterfall was. We heard the rushing water but thought that it was just the stream. We walked well over the .3 miles as indicated by the map. By this time a trusting pair was following us, the leader, we both resigned to having missed the falls and headed back nearly half a mile. A trail appear leading down. Paul walked a little bit and encountered a woman and he enquired about a waterfall. She said this was the spot!!! It was gorgeous and worth the extra little bit of walking.

On Sunday our excursion to waterfall required more walking than the previous day including getting lost. The pregnant woman was very good being more willing than her husband to keep going to see the beautiful creations. We walked up steep inclines of both a 1000 feet and 900 feet. These falls were amazing as well. In total on Sunday we walked about 5 miles but we did and are doing great. We hope you enjoy the pictures as much as we enjoyed the views.

Look at those teeth and that belly!

OK diligent followers of the ptquast adventures. Nothing extremely new these past few weeks. We are doing great getting excited for the little onE to come into our home. We actually can't wait. Pauli is doing quite well with studying and working and Tiffers is as busy as always with her adventures as an SLP. Pauli has passed two of four sections for the CPA exam. This is a huge relief however, this next one is quite hard but he is studying diligently. It is amazing that Tiffany's teeth have moved so much. Beside is a picture of her teeth and below a picture of her belly(aka Budda).

We have also added pictures of a gorge we saw when leaving Idaho Falls, as we were there for Art and Stacie's sealing!

As we reported, these were taken at the gorge in Twin Falls. The Snake River is what flows through it. Aren't these neat? We love God's creations!!!

Hello,

Here is a new update. Nothing has really changed except for one very exciting event. It deals with an ultrasound. Yes we know what it is. You must keep reading to figure out what we are having. The adventures chronicled here include a wedding in twin falls ID, a visit with my friend(paul's) there, a fun adventure to temple square in Salt Lake City UT. We hope all is well for all those that read this. and by the way we are having a little boy. We are extremely excited and yet a little nervous.

love,

Hello Everyone,

Here is a quick update of the Quastie house. We are doing great Paul Tiffany and the little one. Tiffany has started school again and it is going well. She thought that this year would be a little less busy but substantially under-estimated her work load. She is seeing about 10-15% more clients on an already full load. She seems to be handling work and pregancy well. We are greatful for all she does.

18 weeks pregnant

19 weeks pregnant

Pauli is busy like always studying for Mr. CPA exam, that thing sure is difficult. He has taken two, passed one, and studying for test number three. I would say I am exicted. I can't wait until I finish. I am pleased to report I am now a proud Food Lion grocery store associate. I never would have thought, I as an individual with 2 masters degrees, would be working at a grocery store but it will help to keep me busy and aid in bringing home the bacon, literally and figuratively. I am glad to be working.

We have had a recent adventure to report. We went to Pilot Mountain, NC. It was fun, we walk two trails totaling about 2 miles and enjoyed the outdoors. It was quiet and allowed for a spectacular view. We could see Winston Salem, NC from the one of the lookout points (about 10-15 miles away).

Driving to the Mountain and seeing it from the distance.

Pilot Mountain from a closer view

What an incredibly strong man, holding up a part of the mountain!

What a strong woman showin' all her muscles!

Doesn't this look like some kind of animal?

Neat scenery!
